Nasser, Actor and President of the South Indian Film Artistes' Association receives a honorary doctorate from Vel's University for his outstanding contributions in the field of Acting. The executives of SIAA has organised an appreciation ceremony to convey their wishes to him.

Actor S. Ve. Shekher's drama was staged at Vani Mahal, during the play his friends (Co-actors) intruded in a scene. To our surprise S.Ve. Shekher has managed the scene with his own unique comic sense and entertained the show, which was a new and wonderful experience to all spectators.

For SIAA's new Building construction "Star Cricket" was organized and fund was raised. During the event, many senior actor and actress attended and shared their experiences with all. To thank them on behalf of the SIAA, the Executive Manager Mrs. Kutti Padmini and Executive Administrator Mrs. Latha Prakashraj have meet all of them and presented a memento.
